Animated Infographic

Week 4 (7/3/2024)

I started to planning for my animated infographic video. First thing first, I sketched out the storyboard of the animation version in multiple frame to create a rough idea on how am I going to animate the video.

Adobe Illustrator

After finishing the sketching , I continued to draw out each scene in Adobe Illustrator with the required size (1280x720px) . For video scene , I add a frame is use their logo as reference . I copied the element that I draw from Project 1 for each scene.

Adobe After Effect

When working in After Effects, I imported all the Photoshop files separately so that I won't confuse.Actually, I took a lot of time to animate the video. 

For first scene ,I just add position key frame from left to right transition in the words.

For second scene ,I add position key frame from up to middle transition in the words.I also use keylight add a green screen smoke on both culurgiones looks like it steaming hot.

For third scene ,I add position and scale key frame to words, and organize ingredients in order of appearance.

In this scene , I add mask to words make it feel like typing , I draw two different colour layer potato in AI so I adjust the potato opacity. I so add a counting time effect using keylight function.

In this scene , I add mask to words , mashed potato and boiled potato.

In this scene , I add mask to words , add position and scale key frame on each ingredient and also arrange their appearence sequence.

For step 4, I add mask to words , add rotation key frame on lard and water layer, also arrange each ingredient's appearance sequence.

For step 5, I add mask to words , add position key frame up and down on hands layer feels like they are kneading the dough.

For step 6, I add mask to words , I draw two different colour dough layer in AI so I just adjust the dough opacity.

For step 7, I add mask to words and just simply arrange the ingredient's appearance sequence.

For step 7, I add mask to words .After that ,I add position,scale and opacity in each cuurgiones layer adn add a time counter .

For last two scene, I add position keyframe to culurgiones and add a smoking effect on it .

For last two scene, I add position ,scale keyframe to pasta grannies logo and add a mask for words.

After done editing all the scene, I started combined them together ,I also have add sound background and sound effect make it more interesting .
